Simbahang Pambata means Children's Church, an outreach of Maranatha Christian Fellowship to the Least Fortunate children in Cebu (including Street Children). Simbahang Pambata is a ministry especially for the street children and urban poor children in Cebu City. The vision of this ministry is to reach out to all urban poor and street children by sharing and demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ in a holistic approach. We teach them about God’s love, God's word, discipline them, bathe and feed them and love them.	We have daily feeding program for the scholars, 70 of them are fed every lunchtime. Around 800-900 children are being fed every Saturday. There are 110 of them that are being sent to school, elementary and high school. God is raising up children who are teachers now. They are now part of the teaching staff in SPM Sunday School, and some of them are shining as the light in their schools for Jesus in this generation. OUR PROGRAMS: 1. Saturday Service Program - Children's church service - games and teaching materials - Php 1,300.00 weekly budget 2. Feeding Program - 600-800 children being feed weekly - Php 15,000.00 weekly budget for food only 3. Free Medical and Dental Services Program - 60-100 patients being accommodated weekly - all receiving free medication and consultaion - Php 4,000.00 budget for medication weekly 4. Bathing & Hygienic Service - since most of them buy their water supply - some of them we bathe them at the center 5. Sponsorship Program (High School & Elementary Grades) - at the moment we are sponsoring 44 children their schooling which includes their school supplies, tuition (schoolcontribution), projects school uniforms, GSP/BSP uniforms & PTC fees. - Elementary (Php 3,500.00) per year - High School (Php 5,000.00) per year - College sponsorship is through personal recommendation and depending on the School and course of the Student. Our 1st sponsored Student will graduate this March 15, 2008 Saturday. Taking up BSEED Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education.	We need volunteer workers for the following weekly activites: 1. Bathing 2. Feeding 3. Teaching 4. Ushering 5. Helping in the clinic (be a doctor, nurse, or dentist) 6. Or expressing your love to them by playing with them and listening to them Goals: 1. To train and equip more teachers and workers for children 2. To reach out to areas in the city and assign people to organize a children's church 3. To equip and train children to teach children 4. To disciple more children and train them to be leaders 5. To add 10-20 children into the scholarship program 6. To have tutorial services for the scholars every week 7. To have an evangelistic team from the children that they may go out from place to place to share what they have learned	OUR MISSIONS: 1.) Training and Equipping Godly teachers, anointed leaders and workers. 2.) Raise Children to love God and obey Him 3.) Teaching children the Kingdom of God life principle and train them to be God's disciple 4.) Sending 200 children to school under sponsorship program 5.) Feeding 3,000 children weekly. 6.) Giving free Medical Consultation and medicine.
